NOAGE is hosting our second annual Symposium on LGBTQ+ Health & Wellness on Saturday, May 16. While last year's symposium was focused specifically on issues related to aging, this year we will have a variety of speakers (healthcare professionals, community leaders, etc.) presenting on various topics related to LGBTQ+ health and wellness across the lifespan. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This program was approved for 5.0 General contact hours of continuing education credit by the National Association of Social Workers - Louisiana Chapter as authorized by Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners. This workshop has been approved 2.75 CE clock hours including 1.75 Diagnosis by the Louisiana Counseling Association as authorized by the Louisiana Mental Health Law (R.S.37:1101-1123). This event is sponsored by Avita Pharmacy, St. Thomas Community Health Center, and Gilead. (Lunchtime presentation by Gilead is not eligible for continuing education credit.)
